Introduction
D2 Place is a project that was revitalized from an industrial building into a creative and cultural industries shopping mall. It is located in the Cheung Sha Wan business district and was developed in two phases, occupying the original industrial building, Jian Yip Centre (completed in 1978) and Li Lai Centre (completed in 1979). The change in use occurred in 2012. Over 30,000 square feet of multi-purpose space and rooftop gardens have been specially designed to bring together talented people from all walks of life to actively promote creative industries and promote local culture, currently attracting young people and families. The D2 in the mall’s name refers to “Designers’ Dreams”, and also represents the D2 exit of Lai Chi Kok MTR Station, which is closest to the mall.
