Public Guided Tours
Welcome to the Jao Tsung-I Academy.
Visitors are not only invited to explore the academy during opening hours, but also registering for our complimentary public guided tours, which provide an in-depth understanding of the narratives associated with this Grade III historic building complex.
Participants will be guided by professional docents, who will elucidate the historical evolution and revitalization process of the former Lai Chi Kok Hospital project. This experience will also offer insights into the unique cultural atmosphere and architectural characteristics of the site.

Meeting Point: Gallery 1, Low Zone, Jao Tsung-I Academy
(Please arrive to the meeting point 5 minutes before the tour)
Please note: Registration for the guided tour must be made two weeks in advance.
Remarks:

The Gallery and Heritage Hall at the Low Zone are closed on Mondays (except public holidays). The above-mentioned venues will not be included in the tour route on that day.

Guided Tours are conducted in Cantonese. (English and Mandarin Tours also available upon requests in advance)

Group Visit requires reservation. Interested parties please fill in Group Visit Registration Formand return by Email, Fax or Mail.

The tour will include outdoor visits. Participants are suggested to put on proper outdoor clothing and footwear, sunscreens and insect repellent may also be needed.

To maintain order within the academy and ensure a pleasant visit for all guests, all visitors should adhere to the Vistors Terms.

The academy reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to arrangements based on actual circumstances.

Special Weather Arrangements:

Guided Tours will be cancelled if the following weather condition(s) is still in force 3 hours before the tour begins:(i) Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.3 or above is hoisted; or (ii) Yellow/Red/ Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued.

If there is a Typhoon Signal No.8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal at 8 am or after, Jao Tsung-I Academy will be closed and all guided tours will be cancelled. If the Education Bureau has announced that classes are suspended, school tour reservations and associated activities will be cancelled.
