The theme of this painting and calligraphy exhibition is “Knowing the Heart is Not Far Away”. We hope that through the works of Master Chi Chern, we can realize that “the heart is not far away”, so that our body and mind can stay in the present moment.

Master Chi Chern’s works incorporate Zen thinking into his painting, and his paintings express Zen thinking. His creations are unique in nature, far-reaching in artistic conception, and can cleanse people’s hearts.

 

All the works in the exhibition are untitled. This hopefully gives the public more room for their imagination, allowing each viewer to feel the unique meaning of the works for themselves. When viewers appreciate it carefully, they can feel the Zen of the master and thus gain a deeper understanding.

* Master Chi Chern is tentatively scheduled to have tea with the public on the afternoons of October 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14-22. Everyone is welcome to attend.

*All paintings in the exhibition are for sale to the public. After deducting the event expenses, the proceeds will be donated to the Jao Tsung-I Academy in accordance with the Master’s wishes to promote culture and social work that cleanses people’s hearts.
