“83 King Lam Street” is a Grade A commercial building with twin towers in Lai Chi Kok. It is conveniently located near Lai Chi Kok MTR Station. No. 83 King Lam Street was designed by the famous architectural firm Rocco Design Architects in collaboration with the emerging architects of Collective Studio. The spacious public rest area is infused with green elements with giant stairs. The podium consists of a centrepiece of cascading parametric landscape of steps which winds its way up and down, left and right, connecting each level of the separated podium. The atrium garden design is reminiscent of Japanese architecture, especially the “Awaji Yumebutai ” on Awaji Island. From certain angles, it looks somewhat like a “chessboard”.
