Journey to the West ‧ Life Tour
A Journey of the Heart

“A Journey of the heart” (心 渡 遊) is one that begins in the heart; it can be compared to a ferry crossing to the other shore, and in this journey we ask the audience look at characters from Journey to the West. We hope this ferry’s journey will cause us to reflect further on Journey to the West, and to stir up the ripples in the hearts of the ferry’s passengers – the audience.
We gradually learn to appreciate our own lives by learning the positive life attitudes of different characters in Journey to the West by combining arts, literature, and life education.
This enables as to appreciate Chinese classical literature from a new perspective and let young people understand Chinese traditional culture, thus reflecting on life and on how to live a meaningful life.
